Why invest in domain names

Domain names are a non-renewable addressing resource of the internet. The supply of top-tier domains was largely fixed in the 1990s, while demand keeps expanding with every new wave of technology.

Scarcity

There are only 676 two-letter .com and 100 two-digit .com domains in the world. Supply is entirely inelastic — it cannot rise with demand.

Resilience

Domain assets have weathered several full industry cycles — the internet, mobile internet and now artificial intelligence. Their long-term value curve is smooth and weakly correlated with mainstream financial assets.

Return potential

AI.com changed hands for US$70 million, setting a new publicly disclosed record for a domain transaction. Deals in the tens of millions of dollars have continued to appear in recent years.

Risk warning: the transaction prices above are publicly reported market information. They are not the performance of this Fund and do not imply that the Fund can achieve comparable returns. Domain asset prices are volatile and may suffer significant drawdowns or fail to realise within the expected timeframe.
Competitive moat

Our core advantages

Three resources combine into an end-to-end capability that is difficult to replicate: sourcing → investment management → exit.

01

DN.com trading platform resources

Access to DN.com's global domain trading platform brings priority access to quality assets and lower acquisition costs. Live data from the DN.com platform feeds the Fund's AI valuation models with pricing evidence.

02

Brokerage network

Shared access to the end-buyer relationships of a professional brokerage team, covering leading companies in the internet, blockchain and AI sectors. We approach end buyers proactively to pursue premium exits rather than waiting for inbound enquiries.

03

Global partner channels

Deep partnerships with mainstream registrars, marketplaces and auction houses give early sight of quality domains coming to market. A Hong Kong plus Singapore footprint connects the Fund to global capital.

How the three reinforce each other: sourcing → investment management → exit, an end-to-end capability that pure financial investors cannot replicate. Read more about the moat →

About the Fund

A fund dedicated to domain assets

Premium domain names have long been held in scattered hands by individual investors and domain traders. Funds that allocate to this asset class systematically and with institutional discipline remain few worldwide.

01

Growing with the era

A domain name is the internet's front door. From the spread of the internet to mobile and now artificial intelligence, every technology wave creates fresh demand for entry points, while supply never changes.

02

A long-term holding view

Domain assets move on the timescale of industry cycles. We hold for the long term, do not trade on short-term speculation, and do not measure ourselves by turnover.

03

Open to partnership

We welcome institutions, domain holders, trading platforms and technology partners to get in touch and take part in the long-term value of this scarce asset.
